Codex lets you cut in mid-answer
Change your mind mid-answer and Codex listens. In the latest Codex CLI, send a follow-up while it’s still answering and it steers right away. New /config searches every setting, and independent read-only tools now run in parallel.
In plain English
Codex no longer makes you sit through an answer you already know is wrong. In the latest Codex CLI, you can send a follow-up while Codex is still responding, and it changes course right away. Interrupting a turn also stops active Code Mode work and the tool calls inside it.
Two more handy bits in the same release: /config lets you search settings across categories, apply supported changes immediately and see which ones need a restart. And Codex can now run independent read-only tools, such as skill, memory and conversation-history lookups, in parallel.
To get it, update Codex CLI to the latest release.
