Check on your Cursor agents from your phone
Step away from your desk without losing track of your agents. The Cursor iOS app now shows the local agents running on your computer and lets you reply to them. It is on by default, except for Enterprise organizations.
In plain English
Your agent can keep working at your desk while you check in on it from your phone.
Remote Control lets the Cursor iOS app see and reply to the agents running locally in Cursor on your computer. The agents don’t move anywhere: they keep running on your computer, and the app connects to them.
How to set it up
- Download the Cursor iOS app and sign in. Computers on your account appear automatically.
- Tap your computer, then approve the pairing request in the Cursor desktop app.
- Your local agents appear in a list. Tap one to see what it is doing or send it a message.
Good to know
- Your computer has to stay on and online. To stop it from sleeping, turn on "Keep this computer awake" under Remote Control in Cursor’s desktop settings. It needs to be plugged in with the lid open.
- It is on by default for everyone except Enterprise organizations, where admins can turn it on in Org settings > Security and identity > Remote control.
- It doesn’t require cloud agents.
